Creepy Grass

Creepy Grass is creeeeeepy.
I don't really know. I think I was just playing with the negative space on this. I've seen people draw back over stuff with white, but I love everything I've done so much more when its not perfect and I have to remember that I wanted to leave a gap, or not color in the teeth.

OR that I have to make the teeth/eyes extra big because when I color in around them it will make them look much smaller.

Women's Baseball

I don't know what happened here. I drew this lady head and I didn't like it and then somehow all the accesories happened and the little skull and then the "sunglasses" because the eyes were creepy.

Filled in the background here because I could. You can see where it bleeds a little but that seems to be what is kind of happening with these. Its just the marker and the type of paper I am using. Its just how it is.

As a disclaimer I don't know anything at all about women's baseball. Don't get upset and eat a kitten or anything.

Eyes

This was a lot of eyes to draw. While I did so I was thinking that maybe they were eggs. Then I drew a few that were too close together and some of them looked like crude boobs...
Circles! they can be anything!
Still liking the border thing, even when its not super obvious it was there.

Relax

This was the first one I did with the masking tape. I feel like someone could point out how the arms are wrong, but just relaaaaax people! Because I don't care, HA!

I like how the texture in the background came out. Markers are pretty sweet.

I really like color, but I seem to always gravitate towards black and white with pops of color vs. colors all over or full color stuff. Something to ponder, maybe something to push once I get bored with these. Maybe it will just happen naturally.

maybe its just kind of an exercise?

After sort of being settled at my job I found that I no longer came home and felt like crap. Actually compared to how much stress I had in my old position I could probably do my current job for two weeks straight without being at the same level of stress.


I decided to get myself back in the swing of posting things I would start making regular stuff and posting those. Kind of like a very free form assignment.

A while ago I cut a few sheets of white cardstock into quarters and then I drew the above. After that I didn't touch it anymore. Then recently I started going at it again with a inch masking tape border. I like it they're fairly quick and it makes me feel accomplished. I'm finding that is my motivator, feeling like I have actually done something.

So the plan is to make them on my weekends and post one a day during the week. In the past this has been my major issues, but coincidentally at my new job I am doing lots of printing/production style work so my main function right now is to produce stuff and then get it out to the departments so they can put it up for the customers. So I'm sort of putting that mental frame of mind to work on this. We shall see!

its nearly 2am - happy valentines day

WHOO! now everyone can make lemon cookies, and also heart shapes if you want to. took me longer than I wanted to think of doing it this way. So thats why its 2am and I'm still up. My mom wakes up in 2 hours. Very tired, but feeling accomplished.

I drew some stuff.

I think...just to have them doing something I will make all of the character sheets with them interacting with their cellphone. Because I know most of them have one, except possibly Saril. Dante has one but he doesn't use it a lot, and when people start talking at him he hands it off to his wife. So basically Saril just has a personal answering service for "their" phone.

mildly dissatisfied with Case's pagey thing. The wording seems to suggest he has a lynx, when really he can become a lynx. I guess I just think of alternate forms as tools to be used. Thus the wording.
